Offered by the Technical University of Dortmund the study course “Master of Education for Teacher Training in Physical Education (Secondary Schools, Grammar Schools & Comprehensive Schools, Primary Schools, Special Education, Vocational Colleges)” is with a length of four semesters. The program is supplemented by forms of organizational and methodological approaches and involves interrelated areas of study. Participants deepen their competencies in sport practice, sport didactics as well as sport science. The closely linked areas of study are specifically sports science fields of activity, theory and practice of movement and sport areas and studies in school and extracurricular professional fields. The last mentioned area is geared towards internships in school and out-of-school professional fields, broadened by courses.
