With a length of four semesters the degree program “Master of Education for Teacher Training in Physics (Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools”, Vocational Colleges, Special Education) is offered by the Technical University of Dortmund. The course involves a content-based academic discipline. Alongside, the program also focuses on the didactical study components and experimental exercises. Participants acquire both experimental and teaching competencies. Furthermore, the course enables students to expand their knowledge in the fundamentals. By doing so, graduates enlarge their methodological knowledge in the subject and in the subject didactics of physics.
