“Master of Science in Physics” is offered by the Technical University of Dortmund with a duration of four semesters. The study phase of this course is divided into special and in-depth courses while also including seminars where students are able to create presentations on special topics. In addition, the program imparts lectures, exercises as well as a two-semester advanced internship. The Master’s degree provides possible focus areas such as solid-state physics, particle physics and accelerator physics. Graduates will be able to specialize in research, development, and teaching in both the public sector like universities, research institutes, and government agencies for example as well as the private sector such as in electronics industry, chemical industry, medical technology, mechanical and vehicle engineering.
