Provided by the Technical University of Dortmund the degree program “Master of Education for Teacher Training in Practical Philosophy (General Schools, Intermediate Schools and Comprehensive Schools)” is with a duration of four semesters. The course implements the classical approaches in dealing with problems and texts in philosophy. Apart from that, students form strong, professional understanding of significant issues and approaches to problems in the major systematic areas of philosophy. According to those, the program enables to convey the approaches in an easy-to-understand way and to discuss them in a factual way. Participants will be enabled to evaluate the achievements of philosophy in a well-founded manner, identify the fundamental disciplinary as well methodological weaknesses and many more.
