“Bachelor of Arts for Teacher Training in Protestant Theology (Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)” is with a duration of six semesters offered by the Technical University of Dortmund. This teacher training course conveys individual sub-disciplines with a scientific emphasis. Students acquire an academically and scientific study of the Bible as well as the tradition of the Christian faith in order to become professionally qualified for their future career as educators. For this purpose, the degree program provides didactic events and practical courses with further focus towards the expansion of theology. The subjects of Old Testament, systematic theology, religious education, church history as well as New Testament are explored in-depth in this course.
