With a length of six semesters the degree program “Bachelor of Arts for Teacher Training in Psychology (Vocational Schools)” is provided by the Technical University of Dortmund. Primarily, this course is targeted towards a job in the field of school and education. Students acquire knowledge in the foundational subjects of differential psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology and general psychology. In addition, the applied subjects involve industrial and organizational psychology, clinical psychology and educational psychology. Furthermore, during this course participants are able to gain in-depth insights of the psychology research methodology. As this is a teacher training study program, the focus also falls on the subject didactics.
