The four-semester study program “Master of Arts in Religion, Ethics, and Politics” is offered by the Technical University of Dortmund. Dealing with the relationship between religion, society and politics as well as the demands from the complex field of tension, the lectures systematically introduce the disciplines of self-understanding, controversies and central questions with the scientific ways of thinking, the basic concepts, methodology and central texts. Throughout the program, students are able to select between tolerance, conflict or identity as specialization and furthermore the course focuses on career research and practice by offering a career guidance module where participants deepen their comprehension. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates have the opportunity to work in research and teaching, policy management, policy advice, church institutions, charities and more.
