With a standard period of study either two semesters for full-time or three semesters for part-time, the course “Master of Science in Spatial Planning” is provided by the Technical University of Dortmund. By imparting the ability to both organize and manage planning projects at all planning and decision-making levels as well as to lead interdisciplinary working groups, the degree program qualifies students for the increasing demand in professional practice for planning know-how. The course also provides the opportunity to specialize in a chosen field of spatial planning as well as group-based learning through research in a study or design project. Throughout their study, participants will be encouraged to apply their fundamental knowledge of spatial planning in an interdisciplinary manner. “Master of Science in Spatial Planning” is taught both in English and German.
