“Bachelor of Arts for Teacher Training in Art (Special Education)” is with a length of six semesters offered by the Technical University of Dortmund. Participants gain the ability to effectively organize and conduct art lessons at schools, both practice-oriented and theoretical. They analyze art didactic approaches and become familiar with the school-specific formulations of curricula and teaching processes. The course provides with the essential artistic creativity skills and links the Bachelor’s degree with the Master’s degree. Graduates must complete both teacher training courses along with successful completion of the teacher traineeship in order to entry the teaching profession.
