The six-semester degree program “Bachelor of Arts for Teacher Training in Mathematics (Special Education)” is provided by the Technical University of Dortmund. Since this is a teacher training course, the focus falls on the mathematics didactics. The modules cover the main mathematical didactic theories and components. Those are primarily aimed at creating the basis for the professional design, indentify and support of the learning process students. Overall, the course imparts the essential key points for learning and teaching the mathematical subject. Students will be able to assort the comprehension of mathematic didactics, to generate individual decision-making solutions, models and more. The program enables to think in a problem-solving way for specific learning conditions. Furthermore, participants are able to deepen their acquired knowledge on central topic basis.
