The study course “Bachelor of Arts for Teacher Training in Special Education specialization Vision (Vocational Schools)” is offered by the Technical University of Dortmund with a length of six semesters. The program explores the concept of developmental conditions, functional diagnostics of vision, visual perception, the different visual perception and more. This course provides solid didactic competencies. Taken into account within the study are the particular matters of inclusive teaching, early intervention of children with blindness, visual impairment and visual loss issues. Graduates can pursue with the Master’s degree where all of the components in the Bachelor's program are continued, along with an integrated internship.
