Description
Offered by the Technical University of Dortmund the English-taught course “Master of Science in Spatial Planning for Regions in Growing Economies” is with a duration of four semesters. The program deals with the current topics of spatial panning while students are able to reflect on the conflict between economic development and environmental protection, to develop concepts for transport systems improvement and more. During the course, participants are able to acquire various personal characteristics such as logical thinking, flexibility, creativity organizational and communicative skills. Furthermore, comprehension in the main phases of planning cycle along with the ability to design regional development activities in a pragmatic, problem-solving and proactive wayis acquired.Graduates gain in-depth knowledge in natural resource planning, physical infrastructure planning and socio-economic development planning while being prepared for various fields of activity such as in regional development and urban planning as well as in ministries or national and international development.
