“Bachelor of Science in Statistics” is provided by the Technical University of Dortmund with length of six semesters. By training students to become able to apply the scientific knowledge and develop methods for solving problems in various application fields the program conveys a broad range of basic specialist and theoretical comprehension in statistics, mathematics and probability. Participants acquire methodological competences in presentation, processing, and evaluation of data from numerous points of perception and have the opportunity to select a mandatory minor subject such as, for example psychology, chemistry, computer science, mechanical engineering, theoretical medicine, economics, psychology and more.
