The six-semester course “Bachelor of Arts for Teacher Training in Textile Design (General Schools, Intermediate Schools and Comprehensive Schools)” is offered by the Technical University of Dortmund. The program interlinks both theory and practice with a strong reference to schools. Participants of this course acquire solid comprehension by attending lectures, projects, workshops and laboratory exercises. By including the opportunity to work with materials such as metal, wood and plastic the course provides the competences to both organize and carry out technology lessons. The program involves two internship phases during the second semester.
