The program “Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology” offered by TH Georg Agricola University of Applied Sciences provides a continuing education after completion of a relevant bachelor`s or diploma course of studies. The curriculum builds on and broadens the students` knowledge gained through their previous education and allows them to specialize in either power engineering or information technology. The program is modular designed. First phase consists of introductory modules which goal is to bring the participants to the same knowledge level. General modules ensure a comprehensive understanding of the study content. From the fourth semester on, students decide on a field in which they want to gain expertise and attend the corresponding classes. Graduates of the program have a lot of work options available, in the field of industry, research and development and in the higher public service. They can also pursue an academic career.
