The program “Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering” offered by TH Georg Agricola University of Applied Sciences is a subsequent choice of education, when already holding a university degree in mechanical engineering or a similar degree program. Students would be able to objectively analyse research observations and apply scientific and engineering methods independently after finishing the curriculum. The course of studies also provides studying of the general technical and methodological cross-sectional skills that are central to mechanical engineering disciplines. Some of the modules that are taught throughout the program are thermodynamics and fluid mechanics, materials science, machine dynamics, production organization and etc. Graduates of the program gain international certification that allows them to take on challenging professional and management roles in business or in the government. They are also qualified to earn a doctorate at a university and to work in the higher civil service.
