The degree program “Bachelor of Education in Computer Science” at the University of Kaiserslautern is conceived as a vehicle for teaching, learning and research to produce teachers who have very sound knowledge of the art, science, engineering and technology of computer-related hardware devices as well as software tools in order to teach competently at secondary school level. During the course of studies, participants will gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of the theoretical, practical and technical area of the computer science. Apart from the teaching line, there are other career options that students can choose after graduating from the degree program, including system administrators, educational researchers and advisors, as well as content writers or freelancers.
