Description


The program “Master of Arts in Catholic Church Music with focus on Organ Literature” is one way to achieve excellence in the art of organ literature performance. The Rottenburg Church Music University provides this full-time course in four semesters. The students can develop their skills and knowledge in keyboard instruments, organ methodology, orchestra and choral conducting choir rehearsal practice, singing, composition score playing, continuo practice. Practical experience is obtained in internship in a basilica, cathedral and with an exception with a concert organist, as well, as participation in organ competition or organ literature performance. After finishing the course, graduates can proceed to play in cathedrals or basilica.
