The six-semester study program “Bachelor of Arts in Design” offered by University of Applied Sciences and Arts in its location in Hildesheim focuses on helping students build competencies for their future professional life, such as team and project work, as well as acquiring information in the fields of conception, creation, expert theory, and technology. A great benefit of the program is the free arrangement of the course of study. After the first semester, during which students are taught the fundamentals, they have the opportunity to choose one of nine areas of competence. Some of the available ones are Advertising Design, Digital Environment, Colour Design, Product Design and etc. Furthermore, students will apply what they have studies via workshops and laboratories. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are qualified to work as freelances or to be employed in communication agencies, graphics agencies, architects` offices and etc.
