The six-semester study program “Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education” offered by University of Applied Sciences and Arts in its location in Hildesheim provides students with comprehensive education about professional work with children and families, in terms of the theory behind it, but also its application in reality. The curriculum comprises of six fields - general basics, childhood education and didactics, psychology and health, academic writing, professional orientation, and advanced studies. The course of study is in such way designed, so as to put an emphasize on both theory and practice with an aesthetic focus. Graduates of the program are active in taking up management functions or in the childhood research field.
