The eight-semester study program “Bachelor of Arts in Educational Sciences for the Allied Health Professions Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy” offered by University of Applied Sciences and Arts in its location in Hildesheim provides an education for future teachers at schools for occupational therapy, speech therapy or physiotherapy. Students will get expert training to understand the current and future issues in this area. For those who have already finished an education in one of the subjects, there is the option to be accredited for the previous studies and to start from the fourth semester on. The university also collaborate with the Hildesheim Foundation, ensuring to provide students with the most thorough course of study. The fundamentals of educational science, didactics, educational psychology are all covered. A big part is also the application of the theory through two five-week practical phases at the university`s partnership schools. Graduates can become teachers at a school for occupational therapy, speech therapy or physiotherapy.
