The seven-semester dual study program “Bachelor of Science in Forestry Dual” offered by University of Applied Sciences and Arts in its location in Göttingen concentrates on the forest ecosystem`s diversity and on the training company`s specialized demands, with the goal of making students experts in this sector. Throughout the course of study, participants will look into topics such as forest management, soil and climate science, forest and society and etc. Besides gaining theoretical knowledge, students will be employees of a forestry training company. This gives them the great benefit of starting to work right after finishing the Bachelor`s degree. The program follows a unique timetable. In the lecture-free times, students work in their training company. Moreover, at the end of the course of study, they should do two more practical phases, each lasting three months. They will also have the option to obtain the nationally recognised Forest Teaching Certificate, enabling them to enter the environmental education working sphere. Graduates are working in forest districts, wood processing companies, forestry companies, and etc.
