The six-semester study program “Bachelor of Engineering in Medical Technology” offered by University of Applied Sciences and Arts in its location in Göttingen prepares engineers who are well - versed in the demands of medical technology industry and healthcare system. Besides the solid technical education in engineering students that participants get, they also develop their medical competence. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to take interprofessionally developed modules, such as cooperative study projects. Incorporated to the last semester of study there is a practical phase in which students prepare their Bachelor`s thesis and make a smooth shift into working life. Graduates are active in the fields of biomedical research, medical technology industry, clinical research and etc.
