The six-semester study program “Bachelor of Engineering in Physical Engineering” offered by University of Applied Sciences and Arts in its location in Göttingen provides students with both comprehensively theoretical and practical knowledge in the physics subjects. Students will create high-quality optical and laser systems, using cutting-edge materials. The curriculum is designed in two big parts. The first three semesters students gain understanding of the foundations of engineering science, and in the following semesters they deepen their knowledge in chosen subjects. In this way during the first semesters participants can observe and decide what they find most interesting, and then specialise in it, such as medical technology or renewable energies. Graduates of the program are qualified to pursuer careers in research institutes or in companies` development units.
