Description
The four-semester study program “Master of Science in Scientific Conservation” offered by University of Applied Sciences and Arts provides students with competencies in the inquiry, assessment, conservation and restoration of highly degraded materials and old restorations. Furthermore, participants will receive key legal and business knowledge. They have also the option to choose modules on themes such as past prevention and hazardous substances, preservation of historical monuments and building research, and etc. There is an opportunity for taking a minor subject, too, for example analytics and development. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are competent for special fields of conservation and restoration practice. They are also qualified to take on management tasks, lead workshops, and etc.
