The six-semester study program “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” offered by University of Applied Sciences and Arts in its location in Hildesheim educate students on resolving social issues that communities and individuals are increasingly confronted with these days. Some of the content during the course of study is related to basic principles of social work, framework conditions for social work and etc. Students will lean about the methodology and working principles of social work. These are presented in classes such as Case Management, Consulting and Community work. Social work does not operate only on the basis of theory. Due to this fact, students apply what they have learned to a wide range of practical professional study materials. Graduates of the program are working in youth welfare offices, day care centres, further education facilities, and etc.
