The eight-semester dual study program “Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Sciences, Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy” offered by University of Applied Sciences in its location in Göttingen has the major aim to qualify members of the healthcare professions of physiotherapy and speech therapy to deliver therapy in professional practice on a higher international level. All nursing and therapy students in the campus study and work together, ensuring education and studies to be inextricably interwoven. This results in a competency profile that best prepares students for multi-professional teamwork in their future careers. After completion of the program, students will be able to work in a confident and methodical way, to take participation in research projects, and use therapeutic skills in the diagnosis and treatment of patients and clients in a reflective manner. Graduates are qualified to work in therapeutic institutions, open their own practice etc.
