Description
Industrial Design establishes the base of the social and economic transformation of a country by developing and manufacturing products through techniques of mass production. Industrial designers are responsible for the production, value and functionality of products – from design process to user experience. Students in Industrial Design acquire organizational, communication, innovation, analytical and creative skills through learning subjects like Design Visualization, Product Development, Design Philosophy, Materials and Design, Ergonomics, Design Communication, Project Development and Interaction Design, and receive practical experience through various opportunities for research projects and work in the four main fields of Industrial Design - commercial design, responsible design, experimental design, and discursive design. Through gaining extensive knowledge in the field and learning to apply different techniques, students prepare for their professional lives. Graduates can pursue careers in a variety of subfields and work as design managers, design engineers, project managers, design consultants, researchers, art directors, interior designers, textile technologists, exhibition designers, product developers and many more.
