Movement Education focuses on maintaining the health of the human body through physical exercises, such as sport, dance or other activities. The program’s main aim is to give students extensive knowledge and understanding of contemporary practices and professional experience in preparing curriculums, using different pedagogical methods and conveying their passion for movement as a source of health to others. Movement Education programs typically includes subjects like Analysis of Sports Techniques and Tactics, Curriculum Development, Health Promotion in Children & Families, Optimizing Learning & Development, Strategies for Teaching, Physiological Basis of Fitness, and others. Students are encouraged to conduct research and during the program they learn to understand children’s experiences in sport, develop innovative approaches, fight discrimination and adapt to pupils’ needs.
