The dual “Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Design Combined with Practical Experience” program at the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer is taught entirely in German. With a duration of 8 semesters, students are able to acquire theoretical knowledge in addition to practical experience in their preferred field. The course curriculum includes Mechanics, Physics, Production engineering, Operations management and other subjects. A university entrance qualification and a practical training contract with a company are prerequisites to take part in the program. Graduates are able to pursue careers in product design, quality assurance, marketing and sales of technical products and many more.
