The program “Master of Science in Architecture: Residential Building” at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences has a duration of two semesters. It aims to educate on future-oriented renovation strategies in housing construction and specializes in the field of strategic housing development. The training concentrates on an annual project in the field of housing construction. The curriculum includes social space, urban space, Housing Design, typological analyses, Typological design, Residential Psychology and other subjects. To apply, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in architecture. Graduates pursue a career as an architect, architectural technologist, building supervisor, production designer, structural engineer and interior designer.
