Description

The study program “Bachelor of Science in Geoinformatics and Surveying” at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences has a duration of six semesters. It aims to train students to use various measurement methods, such as tachymetry, GPS, photogrammetry or remote sensing. The syllabus contains Mathematics, Engineering Mathematics, Basics of statistical data analysis, Geodetic calculation methods, Calculation tools and CAD, Geoinformatics, Computer Science and other subjects. To submit, students must have a general university entrance qualification. Graduates find employment in geoinformation management, remote sensing, geospatial database administration and geoinformatics system development.
