The University of Bayreuth offers the Master’s degree “Master of Science in Applied Computer Science”, which is designed as a consecutive course and requires the basics of computer science, mathematics and the application subject of bio, engineering or economics taught in the Bachelor's degree. Thus, this master's degree offers students the opportunity to delve into a specific area of their own choosing. The modules offered in the master’s course are designed to be research-oriented and, if possible, have a direct reference to the lecturers’ main research areas. The graduates of the following master's degree have good future prospects as their studies qualify them for both a scientific career and management positions. The entry requirements include a university degree in the bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science from the University of Bayreuth with a field of application (engineering or business informatics) or an equivalent degree, as well as language proficiency: German: B2.
