The University of Bayreuth offers the Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry”, which offers a research-intensive and future-oriented subject with steadily growing career opportunities in biotechnological research and development. This program therefore offers the students a research-related and at the same time professionally oriented education. It also provides the graduates with a further professional perspective in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, in the field of environmental protection, as well as in the food industry, research institutes, administrative institutions and education. The entry requirements include general or relevant subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, as well as language skills certificate of German, with at least B2 level.
