The University of Bayreuth offers the Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Science in Business Mathematics”. During this Bachelor program the students will learn to use their mathematical knowledge in economic contexts with the help of the latest information technology. Thus, after successful graduation, the students will be able to work within insurance and finance, in industry and in public administration. They will have the ability to abstract, be secure in logical thinking, and understand economic problems. The main studying fields of this program are Statistics, Optimization and Numerical Mathematics. The entry requirements include general or relevant subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, as well as language certificate: German, with at least B2 level.
