The University of Bayreuth offers the Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Science in Chemistry” that aims to provide explanations for phenomena that can be experienced macroscopically at the molecular level, as well as to answer to many material science, pharmaceutical and biological questions that can only be understood by the detailed microscopic structure and dynamics. This course also teaches the safe and problem-solving-oriented handling of the basic chemical knowledge, as well as modern methods, practical chemical laboratory work. The entry requirements include general or relevant subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, as well as language skills certificate: German B2.
