The Master’s degree “Master of Science in Energy Technology” at the University of Bayreuth enables the students to work competently and creatively as engineers on innovative solutions. Thus, they will acquire in-depth specialist knowledge, especially in the areas of analysis, evaluation and optimization of energy systems, thermal, electrical, chemical and biological processes, as well as modern measurement methods, simulation for energy technology and production and process engineering. This master’s degree gives students a research-oriented and industry-related education at university level and enables a career in industry, self-employment or an academic career in research. The entry requirements include a university degree (or a completed degree) in the Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science at the University of Bayreuth or an equivalent degree, as well as linguistic proficiency German: DSH-2.
