The University of Bayreuth offers the "Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science" course that has extensive basic training in engineering. The students will be able to gain knowledge in the common basic principles of the engineering disciplines in their application, as well as to take on the role of mediator between different subjects in addition to the function of a specialist in a manageable specialty. The main purpose of this bachelor's degree is interdisciplinary and combines engineering and natural science content, and it enables the students to continue their studies in a wide variety of engineering master’s courses and receive future career perspectives on the international job market. The entry requirements include general or relevant subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, as well as language skills: German C1.
