Description
The University of Bayreuth offers the Master’s degree “Master of Science in Finance and Information Management”, which is aiming to find motivated students and provide them excellent preparation for a unique, interdisciplinary career in responsible and challenging positions. The following Master’s course is provided as a joint program of the Technical University of Munich and the University of Bayreuth and conveys in-depth knowledge at the interface of the future topics of finance and information management. Thus, it also offers a wide range of interdisciplinary courses in four areas of specialization: Quantitative Finance, Financial Management, Business & Information Systems Engineering and Sustainability & Technology. The entry requirements include a bachelor's degree (with at least 6 regular study semesters) or an equivalent degree in economics or social sciences, industrial engineering, information systems, (applied) computer science, mathematics including financial and economic mathematics, statistics or in a comparable course of study. Also, a proof of English language skills through a recognized language test such as TOEFL, with at least 88 points, IELTS (at least 6.5 points) or the “Cambridge” Certificate.
