The University of Bayreuth offers the Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Science in Food and Health Sciences”. This interdisciplinary course combines scientific topics in the fields of biology, chemistry, biochemistry and sports science with law and economics, data analysis and statistics with social science topics such as "public health" and behavioural sciences. The future graduates are qualified for careers positions in health management, health insurance, food industry, media and in other areas of politics, administration and business. Thus, there are many institutions are involved with the University of Bayreuth in various research projects and in teaching activities of the Faculty of Life Sciences: Food, Nutrition and Health. The entry requirements include general or relevant subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, as well as language skills certificate for German B2, English B2.
