Description


The University of Bayreuth offers the German-French Dual Bachelor’s Degree “Law: Economics and Institutions” by which the students acquire two degrees at the same time after six semesters. These degrees are the “Bachelor of Laws” (LL.B.) from the University of Bayreuth and the “License Mention Droit” from the University of Bordeaux. During the first two years the participants study at the University of Bayreuth and then at the end of the second year, the French students from Bordeaux come to Bayreuth and the students are taught there together. At the third year of study, all students attend the University of Bordeaux. The main purpose of this course is to focus on the German and French law, as well as on the basics of economics. Due to the skills, the students have after finalising the double degree recognized in Germany and France, they have excellent career prospects within organizations and associations. The entry requirements include general or relevant subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, as well as language skills certificate for German B2 and French B2.
