The University of Bayreuth offers the Bachelor’s degree „Bachelor of Science in Geography” that includes both the scientific methods of geography and specialist knowledge in a large number of geographical sub-disciplines. Thus, the broad curriculum enables students to solve spatial problems independently, as well as to adapt to the changing requirements in their future professional fields. The main focus of this course is primarily on empirical working methods in geography, cartography and geographic information systems (GIS), as well as students have the chance to choose between the two specializations human geography and physical geography. The entry requirements for this course include general or relevant subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, as well as language skills certificate: German B2.
