The University of Bayreuth offers the Bachelor’s German-Spanish Dual Degree in “Law”. The German-Spanish course is particularly focused on commercial and business law and prepares students to work within a business law firm, legal department of international companies or in European or international governmental organizations. The University of Bayreuth has a cooperation with the Spanish University Pablo de Olavide in Seville, and the students will get to known legal systems within 8 semesters. The students will spend the first two years of their studies at the University in Bayreuth, followed by another two years at the target university in Seville, where they will also complete an internship and a bachelor's thesis. At the end the graduates can acquire two degrees after eight semesters: the “Grado en Derecho” from the University of Pablo de Olavide and the “Bachelor of Laws” from the University of Bayreuth. The entry requirements include general or relevant subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, as well as language skills certificate: German C1 and Spanish B2.
