The Master’s degree “Master of Science in Human Geography” provides the students with in-depth theoretical and methodological knowledge in the field of urban, economic and social geography. Thus, this course conveys specialist and methodological skills, by which the graduates are qualified both for a subsequent doctoral degree and for entry into the non-university job market. In the non-university area, activities in spatial research institutions, in ministries and authorities, in urban and regional planning and in real estate and housing market research can be carried out. The entry requirements a university degree (or a completed degree) with at least an examination grade of 2.0 in the bachelor's degree in geography at the University of Bayreuth or an equivalent degree, as well as linguistic proficiency German: B2.
