Description
The University of Bayreuth offers the Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Arts in International Economics and Development” that provides students with well-founded specialist knowledge of the mechanisms, problems and strategies of doing business in an international environment. The students will also learn throughout this course to analyse international economic and social processes and to solve complex decision problems. The main purpose of this course is to focus on the economics, the basics of international management, the economics of developing countries, as well as on the working methods of international organizations and aspects of European integration are also taken into account. In the specialization area in particular, students also have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with sociological, ethnological, religious or cultural-scientific topics. Thus, the working in relatively small groups is characteristic of the course. The entry requirements include general or relevant subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, as well as language certificate: German B2.
