The University of Bayreuth offers the Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Laws in Law and Economics”, which provides such a wide-ranging, well-founded training and prepares students for work in commercial enterprises as banks or tax advisory and auditing firms. Thus, around two thirds of the courses are assigned to law, civil law and public law in particular, and extent also criminal law. The law and economics courses and their examinations must be attended and completed throughout the first four semesters of the state examination course "Law". Also, the students are free to decide whether they want to take the LL.B., as well as whether they want to study exclusively undergraduate degrees or in a double degree with the law or other economics degree. All of their achievements made in this bachelor's degree can be credited. The entry requirements include general or relevant subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, as well as language skills: German DSH 2.
