Description
The Master’s program “Law for International Professionals” is intended to provide future lawyers with thorough specialist knowledge in the field of German law or comparative law. This course makes it easier for prospective lawyers to take up a job abroad or to expand their professional activities to international issues. Thus, it provides at least 12 hours per week in the subject areas Basics of German Civil Law, Basics of German Criminal Law and Basics of German Constitutional and Administrative Law must be attended. The students can also choose to attend courses on German law for a further 18 hours per week. The entry requirements include a successful completion of a four-year law course at a foreign university that qualifies for a professional abroad; the dean decides whether the qualification requirements are met or no. Linguistic proficiency is also needed: German: DSH-2.
