Description

The University of Bayreuth offers the interdisciplinary advanced training course “LL.M. Sports Law” that trains senior and advisory legal employees in all sectors related to the sports sector who mostly have an international orientation and are characterized by problem-solving skills and a wide range of professional activities. Thus, the further education course is aimed at: legal employees from all sectors related to the sports sector, legally-oriented professional groups and trainee lawyers, who are striving for an additional qualification. During this four-semester course, the students will acquire the ability to identify issues in sports law-relevant areas with a sports-economic and national and international reference, to analyse them independently on their own responsibility, and to bring them closer to a solution. The entry requirements include a successfully completed (technical) university degree with the degree first legal (state) examination or a completed (technical) university degree with basic knowledge of civil law and / or business law or an equivalent degree. Furthermore, at least one year of professional experience is needed - here it is not absolutely necessary that this has been performed in the field of sports, as well as language skills: German DSH2.
