The University of Bayreuth offers the Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Science in Mathematics”. This course provides it students with mathematical models, mathematical solution processes and their implementation on computers, as well as with a possibility to analyse, simulate and optimize complex processes in all of these sciences. Thus, this program also provides a solid mathematical education, combined with in-depth computer and programming skills, mathematical methods and algorithms in an individually selectable application subject. The students can choose between the following subjects: physics, computer science, engineering, economics, philosophy & economics, geoecology and biology. The entry requirements include general or relevant subject-related higher education entrance qualification or professional qualification, as well as language skills: German B2.
