Description
The consecutive degree program “Master of Education in Agricultural Science” offered at the Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn continues four semesters and it is taught in English and German. The curriculum consists of subjects concerning primary production of renewable raw materials, human, animal food and disciplines in relevance to plant, animal, social, economic sciences and organic farming. Participants may choose one of three minor professional specializations in plant sciences (crop produciton), animal sciences (animal husbandry) or economic and social sciences of agriculture. Throughout the program, the minor vocational subject is taught simultaneously with the major vocational subject. Students will attend internship semester, where they can apply all academic learnings into a work environment. After completing the program, graduates, as teachers at vocational schools, will have abilities and qualifications to accurately convey the acquired academic knowledge to students in training occupations like farmers, gardeners, horse keepers, and many others.
